Broadway News Watch Cast of Broadway's Frozen Surprise Audience With Tribute to Oklahoma! Jelani Alladin, Greg Hildreth, John Riddle, and more performed tunes from the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, which opened 75 years ago at the St. James Theatre.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the groundbreaking musical Oklahoma!, which opened at the St. James Theatre March 31, 1943, the cast of the new Disney musical Frozen (the St. James' current tenant) performed selections from the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic at the March 31 matinee.

John Riddle, who plays Hans, began with an a cappella version of Oklahoma!’s "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'," joined by Jelani Alladin (Kristoff) and Greg Hildreth (Olaf), and, finally, by the entire Frozen cast, including stars Caissie Levy (Elsa) and Patti Murin (Anna).

The St. James Theatre was also the birthplace of such Broadway musicals as The King and I, Hello, Dolly!, and The Producers.
