Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella met Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods at Feinstein’s/54 Below during the June 25 concert The Broadway Princess Party, the popular series co-created by Tony nominee Laura Osnes that features a rotating lineup of Broadway “princesses.”
Osnes, who was Tony-nominated for her performance in the aforementioned Cinderella, performed “In My Own Little Corner” from the classic R&H score. She was then joined by two-former co-stars—Corey Cott (Bandstand) and Newsies Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (Bonnie & Clyde), who serenaded her with “Agony” from Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into the Woods. The evening also featured Susan Egan, Courtney Reed, and original screen and stage Anastasia title players Liz Callaway and Christy Altomare. The concert was music-directed by co-creator Benjamin Rauhala.
