News Watch Darlene Love Bring Down the House in Final "Christmas Baby Please Come Home" on "Letterman" (Video) For nearly 30 years, Darlene Love, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer who has appeared on Broadway as Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray, as well as in Grease, Carrie and Leader of the Pack, has stopped by "The Late Show With David Letterman" to perform the 1963 holiday doo-wop song "Christmas Baby Please Come Home."

For many late-night viewers, the annual performance signifies the arrival of the holiday season.
