News Watch "Glee" Star Jane Lynch Sing, Play Guitar and Rap Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch, who stars as the villainous cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on the hit FOX TV show "Glee," celebrates her birthday July 14. She made her New York City cabaret debut at 54 Below earlier this summer.

Lynch made her Broadway bow last season as Miss Hannigan in the revival of Annie. She began her theatrical career and developed her comic skills at The Second City, Steppenwolf Theatre and in many church basements all over the greater Chicago-land area. In addition to "Glee," her TV credits include "Desperate Housewives" and "Weeds," as well as the final season of "The L Word" opposite Cybill Shepherd.
