News Watch Idina Menzel Sing Moving National Anthem and More at the MLB All-Star Game (Video) Tony Award winner Idina Menzel sang the U.S. National Anthem and conducted a special on-field performance as part of the pre-game ceremony — honoring the 30 winners in the "Target presents PEOPLE All-Star Teachers" program — at the July 15 2014 MLB All-Star Game.

Prior to the National Anthem, Menzel, who stars in the new Broadway musical If/Then, performed "Forever Young" by Grammy Award winner Bob Dylan.

The program celebrated "remarkable current and retired teachers who make an impact on the lives of their students and communities." Winners were recognized on field by the 2014 MLB All-Star players and managers.
