Kinky Boots Angels Spread Their Wings for 30 Days of Pride

Kinky Boots' Angels are the ensemble performers who make the show's fabulous drag numbers come to life eight shows a week. Three of the Angels — Charlie Sutton, Kevin Smith Kirkwood and Paul Canaan — joined Playbill backstage at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre to show off some of their favorite glamorous costumes and to talk about the positive and prideful role the Angels have in the production. "Glee"'s Jane Lynch makes her cabaret debut at 54 Below with a quirky set list of tunes that "have very little to do with each other." Expect guest stars — Kate Flannery (she played Meredith on "The Office"), "Glee" alum Cheyenne Jackson and current "Glee" star Matthew Morrison are all expected to appear. Jonathan Groff, Denis O'Hare and "The Normal Heart" Cast Talk About How Larry Kramer is "Scary and Amazing"

Jonathan Groff, Denis O'Hare, Taylor Kitsch ("Friday Night Lights"), Frank De Julio ("Smash," "Gossip Girl") and Sean Meehan ("Blue Bloods," "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3") took to the red carpet at New York City's iconic Ziegfeld Theatre for the world premiere screening of "The Normal Heart." Based on Larry Kramer's's Tony-winning play — and with a screenplay by Kramer — the film is a personal, emotional and harrowing look at the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s. The cast members chatted with Playbill about the importance of the film, the heroism of Kramer and his contemporaries and the need to live an open and honest life.
