Playbill joined Lea Salonga at Feinstein’s/54 Below for a sneak peek at her upcoming solo show. Watch the video to see Salonga’s performance of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart’s song “Manhattan.”
Following a sold-out engagement at Feinstein’s/54 in 2016, Salonga will return to the cabaret venue for an encore run May 9–22. The solo show blends a set list of her favorite standards, go-to pop tunes, and Broadway ballads.
Salonga is a Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Award winner for originating the role of Kim in Miss Saigon. She has also starred on Broadway in Allegiance, Les Misérables, and Flower Drum Song.
The New York appearances will wrap up Salonga’s North American tour, which kicked off April 1. Tickets and more information are available at 54below.com.
