Christopher Gattelli's choreography for the Apple TV+ series received a 2022 Emmy nomination.

“You put the corn in the puddin', and the puddin' in the bowl. You put the bowl in your belly, 'cause it's good for the soul,” proclaim the lyrics to the song “Corn Puddin’” from the Apple TV+ series Schmigadoon!

Cinco Paul's music and lyrics for the song received a 2022 Emmy nomination. Christopher Gattelli's choreography for the series was also Emmy-nominated. Learn the moves for "Corn Puddin'" from Gattelli, Linsday Janisse, and Sam Strasfeld in the video above.

Created by Paul and Ken Daurio, Schmigadoon! lovingly lampoons the Golden Age of musical theatre. Cecily Strong and Keegan Michael Key star as a modern-day couple who stumble upon a magical, musical town in the mist. The Broadway-star-studded series also features Tony winners Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Aaron Tveit, and Jane Krakowski, Tony nominee and Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, The Light in the Piazza alum Dove Cameron, Avenue Q favorite Ann Harada, Chicago alum Jaime Camil, and Portlandia star Fred Armisen.

The first season of Schmigadoon! premiered July 16, 2021. It will return for a second season, re-christened Schmicago, and shifting its references to the musicals of the '60s and '70s.

The series also garnered Emmy nominations for Outstanding Music Composition for Christopher Willis and Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program for Bo Welch, Don Macaulay, and Carol Lavallee.
