Video Watch Lin-Manuel Miranda, Emily Blunt, and James Corden Sing From Cabaret, La La Land, and More The stars of Mary Poppins Returns and the late night host take on the ultimate movie musical “Role Call” challenge.

On the eve of the release of Mary Poppins Returns in theatres nationwide (out December 19), stars Lin-Manuel Miranda and Emily Blunt appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

The duo joined Corden, who is a Tony winner and former Tony host himself, to take on the “Musical Role Call” Challenge. They had to perform as many excerpts from movie musicals as possible in a single take.

The trio managed to complete snippets of 22 musicals in 12 minutes, including Cabaret, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, Evita, Singin’ in the Rain, Hairspray, Dreamgirls, and even their own Mary Poppins Returns. Blunt and Corden also reprised their duet from their last movie musical Into the Woods, where they played The Baker and The Baker’s Wife.
