News Watch Maureen McGovern Reimagine American Classic; NYC Concert Dates Announced Maureen McGovern, last on Broadway opposite Sutton Foster in Little Women, will bring her new concert act, Sing, My Sisters, Sing!, to 54 Below March 10-14.

A celebration of women singer-songwriters, the evenings at the intimate nightspot will feature musical director Jeff Harris on piano and Jay Leonhart on bass. McGovern will interpret the works of Annie Lennox, Janis Ian, Carole King, Phoebe Snow, Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, Laura Nyro and more. Click here for ticket information.

The Grammy nominee will also be seen in her solo American Songbook concert, which makes its premiere on THIRTEEN April 11 at 1 PM. Included in the concert is McGovern's thrilling reimagining of the 1958 Pete Seeger folk classic "If I Had a Hammer" as well as such tunes as “America,” “Old Friends," “The Times They Are a Changing," “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” and the Jimmy Webb compositions “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “MacArthur Park” and “The Moon is a Harsh Witness."
