Tony Award nominees Charles Busch, Norm Lewis, and Andrea McArdle are among the Broadway artists who are set to appear at Feinstein’s/54 Below in the coming weeks. They invited the press to check out an early preview of what’s in store, performing highlights from their upcoming engagements.
Lewis (Porgy and Bess, Phantom of the Opera) will return for his fourth annual holiday residency with Nutracker Cool December 17–22. The engagement coincides with the release of The Norm Lewis Christmas Album, which is now available. Richard Jay-Alexander directs. Tickets here.
Also returning to ring in the New Year for his third year in a row will be Busch, the celebrated performer and playwright known for The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife and The Divine Sister. The 7 PM show on December 31 will include special guests Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera), Andrea Burns (In the Heights), Peter Flynn (The Scarlet Pimpernel), Ashley Austin Morris (Die Mommie Die!), and music director Tom Judson. Tickets here.
Kicking off the New Year will be Annie Tony nominee Andrea McArdle and A Chorus Line Tony winner Donna McKechnie, who will join forces to celebrate the music of Marvin Hamlisch and Stephen Sondheim January 1–5, 2019.
