Watch Rachel Bloom Parody Chicago’s ‘Cell Block Tango’ on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend | Playbill

Film & TV News Watch Rachel Bloom Parody Chicago’s ‘Cell Block Tango’ on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend The Golden Globe winner also discusses her continued hope that The CW musical comedy has a Broadway future.

On the season four premiere of The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, co-creator and star Rachel Bloom parodied Chicago's “Cell Block Tango” in a number called “What’s Your Story?” where Rebecca (Bloom) gets her fellow prisoners to tell the tales that got them locked up.

Rebecca’s verse serves as a great recap for anyone who has missed previous seasons.

The premiere aired October 12, kicking off the final season for the musical comedy.

Bloom also appeared on Live With Kelly & Ryan October 12 (video below), ahead of the premiere, and shared she’s still working on getting Crazy Ex-Girlfriend to come to Broadway. “It's just a matter of 'What is that?' and 'What can it be on Broadway that we already didn't bring to the television show?” she said. “I think it's really likely.”

But before any potential Main Stem run, Bloom says the cast will embark on another live tour. “The cast and I, we did a tour this summer... performing the songs live like ourselves as opposed to our characters. And I think were going to do another live tour that’s a little bit bigger.”
