Released in 2016, The Hamilton Mixtape features a collection of hip-hop and pop artists covering songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda's 2015 musical, along with new songs inspired by the show. Artists include The Roots, Usher, Sia, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Ashanti, and John Legend.
Hamilton continues its hit run on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where it currently stars Michael Luwoye as Alexander Hamilton, Denée Benton as Eliza Hamilton, and Daniel Breaker as Aaron Burr. The show is also playing in London's West End, Chicago, and two national tours. Miranda will step back into the title role in January 2019 for a three-week engagement in Puerto Rico before a third tour. An additional sit-down production will launch in San Francisco next year.
