The series, which stars and is executive-produced by Emmy nominee and Golden Globe Award winner Don Cheadle, also stars two-time Tony nominee and Grammy winner Andrew Rannells (Girls, The Book of Mormon, Falsettos) and Regina Hall (Girls Trip). Screen Actors Guild Award winner Paul Scheer also stars in Black Monday, which was created by David Caspe and Jordan Cahan, who serve as executive producers and showrunners. Emmy nominees Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are executive producers and directed the pilot.
Black Monday takes viewers back to October 19, 1987, the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street. To this day, no one knows who “caused it” … until now. It’s the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world’s largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine, and the glass ceiling.
