Oscar nominee Adam Driver—soon to return to the Broadway stage—and two-time Tony Award winner Jonathan Pryce star in Terry Gillam’s new comedy The Man Who Killed Don Quixote; check out the trailer above.
The film, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival last year, is slated to play in theatres across North America for one night only April 10 through Screen Media and Fathom Events.
The movie, which Gillam began working on in 1989, follows a pessimistic ad man who finds himself entwined in the fantasies of a shoe-maker who believes himself to be literature's most famous mad man. The two enter a time-hopping fantasy that grows increasingly surreal.
Driver, Oscar-nominated for his performance in BlacKkKlansman, will star in the upcoming revival of Burn This opposite Keri Russell. Performances begin March 15 at the Hudson Theatre.
