International News Watch the West End Cast of Hamilton Perform at the 2018 Olivier Awards The London staging won seven awards at the 42nd annual ceremony.

Prior to taking home a total of seven wins at the 2018 Olivier Awards, the West End production of Hamilton opened the April 8 ceremony with a performance of the Lin-Manuel Miranda musical’s opening number, led by Giles Terera and Jamael Westman. Take a look above.

Terera earned an Olivier for his performance as Aaron Burr. The show’s additional wins included Best New Musical, Outstanding Achievement in Music for Miranda, and Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for Michael Jibson, who plays King George at the Victoria Palace Theatre.

The cast also includes Miss Saigon’s Rachelle Ann Go, Rachel John, Christine Allado, Obioma Ugoala, Olivier nominee Michael Jibson, Tarinn Callender, Jason Pennycooke, and Cleve September.
