Earlier this year, Jessica Vosk performed the iconic Wicked tune onstage at Joe’s Pub—to a French fry!

Jessica Vosk, who recently exited the Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof and will soon fly into the tour of the hit musical Wicked, performed “Defying Gravity” at her February 1 concert, entitled You Asked For It.

Using a French fry as her prop, Vosk belted out the final notes of “Defying Gravity” on the Joe’s Pub stage. The concert evening was co-written and directed by Robbie Rozelle with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. Watch it below.

As previously reported, the national tour of the hit Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical will welcome Vosk as Elphaba and Kristen Martin as Nessarose beginning September 7 at The Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend.

The engagement at the Indiana venue continues through September 18.
