News Waters and Chambers Take a Ride Off-Broadway Starting Jan. 15 The U.S. premiere of Jane Bodie's Ride begins performances Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters Jan. 15.

Nick Flint directs the production that will officially open Jan. 21 and run through Feb. 8 as part of the citywide "G'day USA Festival," celebrating Australian arts and culture.

Jeremy Waters and Melissa Chambers co-star in the two-hander, which is described in press notes as such: "A man and a woman wake up in bed together and neither can remember how they got there. Or who the other is. In the harsh light of the morning after, they attempt to make sense of what may or may not have happened between them and a complex snapshot of modern relationships gradually comes into focus. Ride charts the difficulties of achieving real intimacy in our sexually liberated times."

Ride has set design by James Hunting and lighting design by Cory Pattak.

Bodie's plays include Face2Face, Fourplay, Hilt, One Night One, Out of Me, A Single Act, Speaking in Thongs and Still. Fox Theatricals has optioned the film rights to Ride.
