News Waterston to Inhabit Scenes from Much Ado About Nothing at Emelin Oct. 1 Elisabeth Waterston, who recently starred in Othello for the Intiman Theatre, will explore the Bard's work at the Emelin Theatre on Oct. 1.

The Shakespeare Society presents the evening that promises a behind-the-scenes look into Shakespeare's work from page to stage. Waterston will participate in an open rehearsal of Measure for Measure during the performance. Shakespeare Society artistic director Michael Sexton will offer commentary for the 8 PM event. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

In addition to her portrayal of Desdemona in Othello, Waterston appeared in the Off-Broadway production of The Tempest at Classic Stage Company with Mandy Patinkin and in Much Ado About Nothing, opposite her father Sam Waterston, for the Public Theater.
