News Waterwell Benefit, with Opel, Hyland, Calvert, Parker and Stanley, Offered March 5 The second annual Waterwell Cabaret Benefit is being presented March 5 at Joe's Pub.

Hosted by Waterwell ensemble members Hanna Cheek, Rodney Gardiner and Kevin Townley, the evening will boast performances by Nicole Parker (Fame Becomes Me), Carey Anderson (Mamma Mia!), Anjali Bhimani (Bombay Dreams), Heath Calvert (Good Vibrations), Jordan Gelber (Avenue Q), Sarah Hyland (Grey Gardens), Nancy Opel (Urinetown), Sara Saltzberg (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Stephen Scarpulla (Gypsy), Thom Sesma (The Times They Are A-Changin') and Elizabeth Stanley (Company). Show time is 9:30 PM.

The evening will begin at 7:30 PM with a pre-show cocktail reception held inside the Public Theater. An auction will also be part of the pre-show portion of the night.

Waterwell, founded in 2001 in Indiana, relocated to Manhattan in 2002. The company devises "fresh new productions — or 'drops' — that blend everything from original live music to incisive social commentary and interaction with the audience."
