The program, titled "CBS 2 at the Tonys," will air in the metropolitan area from 5-6 PM ET; check local listings. Dana Tyler will host the special, which will feature chats with Lynn Redgrave, Chita Rivera, Phil Collins, Frankie Valli, Color Purple cast members and Patti LuPone.

LuPone, who is nominated for her performance in Sweeney Todd, was asked about her red carpet secrets. In her typical no-nonsense fashion the Tony and Olivier Award winner joked, "At my age red carpet ready is being who I am. I'm not going to give up the alcohol and I ain’t going on a diet. I'm just going to be me. This is a time of celebration."

Others featured in the special include Julianna Marguiles, Amanda Peet, Ali McGraw, Jonathan Pryce, Cynthia Nixon and Tony Roberts. Host Tyler will also take a tour of Georgia Engel and Danny Burstein's dressing rooms at The Drowsy Chaperone.
