Chris Pelzer will direct Paul Weinstein's new play A Moment Too Soon at the Shurin Theatre in midtown Manhattan. The premiere will run Sept. 14-Oct. 8. A Moment Too Soon joins the legion of new plays which have a scientist as their protagonist. This is one Harry Wells, really more of a mad scientist, since his primary interest is a time machine. Harry's wife Gina cautions him not to use the thing, but does Harry listen? No, and if anyone ever finds out that -- due to his multiple trips through time -- he's responsible for The Beatles having never existed, Wells will have a lot to answer for.
