After a successful run at NY's House of Candles, I Don't Know Who He Was and I Don't Know What He Said transfers to Dixon Place theatre for an open ended run beginning Mar. 20.
I Don't Know Who He Was is a one-man comic tirade delivered by a motivational speaker, played by playwright/actor Matthew Maguire. Financial Wizard, Maguire (playing himself) details the accounts of The Great Stock Market Crash of 1981 and lets us know the difference between winners and losers in America.
Maguire's most recent play Throwin' Bones premiered at La MaMa in June. Other plays include: The Seven Deadly Elements, The Tower, and The Memory Theatre of Glulio Camillo.
During the past six months, The Mac Wellman Festival has been celebrating over 20 years of plays by the Obie Award-winning playwright. His plays include : Bad Penny, Murder of Crows, Second Hand Smoke, Whirligig.
