News Well's Silverman to Direct Free Reading of Walat's Connecticut The free Out Loud reading series will continue March 26 at the Ars Nova with Connecticut.

Leigh Silverman will direct Kathryn Walat's play, which will feature a cast led by Mia Barron, Anna Camp, Maria Dizzia, Lorenzo Pisoni and Armando Riesco. Show time is 7 PM.

In Connecticut, according to press notes, "a close-knit group of friends come together and get torn apart by raging desires, unforgivable betrayals and yappy little dogs."

Kathryn Walat's Victoria Martin: Math Team Queen recently premiered at the Women's Project. Bleeding Kansas, her latest work, will debut at the Hangar Theatre this summer. Walat's plays also include Greenspace, Know Dog and Johnny Hong Kong. The playwright received her BA from Brown University and an MFA from Yale Drama School. She is an affiliated playwright at New Georges.

Leigh Silverman directed Lisa Kron's Well at the Public Theater and on Broadway. She also directed Wit in the West End. Silverman's other New York credits include Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Blue Door, The Treatment, Jump/Cut, Oedipus at Palm Springs and Big Times.
