West Coast Ensemble's revival production of The Diary of Anne Frank opens Feb. 2 under the direction of Richard Israel. Written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, this version was newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman and was recently produced on Broadway.

Set in the cast are Kristina Bartlett, Angela DeCicco, Erika Gray, Alyss Henderson, David Anders Holt, Larry Lederman, Patrick LoSasso, John O'Brien, Clive Pearson and Jan Sheldrick. The design team includes George Cybulski (set), Sean Sullivan (costumes), Frank McKown (lights) and Rye Randa (sound).

The Diary of Anne Frank has won every coveted prize the theatre can offer. The story of a Jewish family forced into hiding in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, as told through the eys of young Anne Frank and captured in detail in the pages of her diary, continues to enlighten and touch people's hearts. Kesselman's revision incorporates newly discovered material about Anne and her family.
