News West Coast Premiere of Dogfight and Rocky Horror Show Shake Up Cygnet's 2015-16 Season Dogfight, featuring music by Tony Award nominees Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, is among Cygnet Theatre's 13th season in San Diego, CA.

Director Sean Murray will mount the West Coast premiere of Dogfight, which will feature Dave Thomas Brown, who returns to the Cygnet stage after his Off-Broadway premiere in Heathers. Performances will be July 16-Aug. 23, with an opening night set for July 25. In the fall, Cygnet's tradition of shows performed in rotating rep will continue with Noël Coward's Hay Fever (directed by new Cygnet's associate artistic director Rob Lutfy, who will assume his position this summer) and The Vortex (directed by Murray). Rosina Reynolds will take on the strong female roles in both these productions, which run Sept. 23-Nov. 8 (Hay Fever) and Sept. 24-Nov. 8 (The Vortex).

The season will also include A Christmas Carol, adapted and featuring lyrics by Murray with a score by Billy Thompson and direction by Murray (Nov. 27-Dec. 27); Andrew Bovell's When The Rain Stops Falling, directed by Lutfy (Jan. 14-Feb. 14, 2016); Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, directed by Murray (March 10-May 1, 2016); and Aaron Posner's Stupid F**king Bird, directed by Lutfy (May 19-June 19, 2016).
