News West End and U.K. Touring Editions of Wicked to Welcome New Elphabas The West End and U.K. touring companies of Wicked are to welcome new cast members. They will take over at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre Oct. 27, and on tour Sept. 16 at Liverpool Empire Theatre.

Nikki Davis-Jones, currently playing Elphaba on the road, will take over in the West End from Willemijn Verkaik, with Liza Sadovy relacing Sue Kelvin as Madame Morrible and Philip Childs taking over from Paul Clarkson as Doctor Dillamond. On the tour, Ashleigh Gray (Elphaba), Samuel Edwards (Fiyero), Steven Pinder (The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond), Richard Vincent (Boq) and Jacqueline Hughes (Standby Elphaba) will respectively replace current cast members Nikki Davis-Jones, Liam Doyle, Dale Rapley, George Ure (Boq) and Jemma Alexander. Those departing will play their final performances Sept. 6 at Birmingham Hippodrome.

Continuing in their current roles in the West End are Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Jeremy Taylor (Fiyero), Martyn Ellis (The Wizard), Sam Lupton (Boq), Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose), Emma Hatton (Standby Elphaba) and Sophie Linder-Lee (Standby Glinda), while on the U.K. road also continuing are Emily Tierney (Glinda), Marilyn Cutts (Madame Morrible) and Carina Gillespie (Nessarose).
