News West End Mamma Mia! Announces Cast Changes The London production of Mamma Mia! turns four on April 6, and in the lead up to its birthday party, the show will have a cast change on March 17.

Chief among these changes is the fact that Alexandra Jay and Samuel Board will play Sophie and Sky, the romantic leads, around whose proposed wedding the plot turns. Alexandra Jay shot to fame as Martin McCutcheon's understudy in My Fair Lady, and is proving herself as a star in her own right. Samuel Board makes his West End debut, having played Matthew in the national tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Louise Plowright continues to head the cast as Donna.

There are now nine productions worldwide of Mamma Mia!, which is rapidly becoming one of the most commercially successful musicals ever staged.
