Claire Sweeney's profiles of the West End, transmitted by BBC in the afternoon, are continuing Feb. 14 with a look at two of the West End's most popular musicals - Mamma Mia! and Cats.
She will also be interviewing actor Simon Shepherd, who briefly returned to the Whitehall Theatre this week following the sudden death of Barry Foster. Foster will be replaced, from Saturday, by Richard Griffiths, who - like several of those appearing in the play over the last couple of years, has been in Art before.
Claire Sweeney continues to appear on the London stage herself, playing Roxie in Chicago at the Adelphi.
