Sam Rockwell stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers April 10 to talk about the premiere of the new limited television series Fosse/Verdon. Rockwell plays Fosse in the show and spoke about learning to dance like a pro.

“We had amazing choreographers: Andy Blankenbuehler, Suzy Misner, Mary Ann Lamb,” he said.

While he nails the dancing on camera, his moves went awry when he joined the actor who plays the flashback version of Fosse. “I made the mistake at our premiere party dancing with the young Bob Fosse. He’s quite a dancer, and we did the splits together and then I realized I couldn’t get up, and he got up right away,” he said.
