News What May Fall, with Tom Deckman and Annie Purcell, Plays Pope Auditorium What May Fall, a new play by Peter Gil-Sheridan, is currently in previews at the Pope Auditorium at Fordham University.

Directed by Morgan Gould, the limited engagement will officially open July 24 and continue through July 31.

The cast features Tom Deckman (Spamalot and Good Vibrations), Annie Purcell (Awake and Sing and Coast of Utopia), Amelia Workman (The Shipment and Lear), Chris Bester, Kate Morgan Chadwick (Frenchie in the national tour of Grease), Maria McConville, Marco Formosa (Tony & Tina's Wedding), Jessica Howell (Zeus & Roxanne) and Ian McWethy.

"When a window washer falls to his death from the tallest building in Minneapolis," press note state, "it forces nice strangers to face the slippery and terrifying reality of living in a world made of ice. Loosely and lyrically based on actual events, What May Fall explores what keeps us grounded when everything can change in an instant."

The production features a set by Chad McCarver, lighting by Ryan Seelig, costumes by Dana Covarrubias, sound by Tim Chaffee and Chris Barlow and props by Ian Crawford.

Pope Auditorium at Fordham University is located at 113 W. 60th Street (at the corner of 9th Avenue). Tickets are $18 ($15 for students); call (866) 811-4111.
