Director Rob Marshall has already confirmed that Academy Award-winning actress Meryl Streep will play the Witch in the anticipated film adaptation, which will shoot in London this fall. Additional reports indicate that Tony and Olivier Award-winning actor James Corden and "Sweeney Todd" star Johnny Depp may also join the cast.
