News What's Happening on 46th Street? Watch the Shows Before the Show at Hamilton (Video) In case you missed it, Hamilton, written by and starring Lin-Manuel Miranda, is in previews at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, and everyone is rushing to play the pre-show lottery in hopes of snagging a seat. Luckily, for fans, Miranda and his cast are "hamming" it up with special performances before each drawing.

Hamilton's #Ham4Ham lottery allows fans to enter their names to see the show for $10 dollars. Hundreds of hopefuls line up before every performance to enter and wait to hear if their names will be announced. Read about the lottery for the show's first preview, in which 704 theatregoers turned up on 46th Street.

What makes this lottery so special and keeps the fans coming back, however, are the pre-show performances by the Hamilton cast and crew.
