Tony Awards Where to Party On Tony Awards Night? Playbill Has You Covered The 64th Annual Tony Awards will be held at Radio City Music Hall June 13, and as always, Playbill.com will offer our readers extensive coverage online. But as Sally Bowles, via Fred Ebb, once said, "What good is sitting alone in your room?" Not everyone wants to spend Broadway's biggest night at home, so we've asked around to find some Tony Award happenings around New York City and beyond.

New York City

  • The Tony Awards will officially broadcast the ceremony on the Clear Channel Spectacolor screen in Times Square at Broadway and 47th Street beginning at 6 PM. Tony Award-nominated Rock of Ages star Constantine Maroulis will host. 1,000 seats will be set up for the 5-hour event that will also feature New York 1's red carpet coverage, the Creative Arts Tony Awards and the national broadcast, which begins at 8 PM. Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child, who was also seen in Chicago on Broadway, will appear.
  • The Laurie Beechman Theatre will host a Tony party, and reservations are needed if you want to drink and nosh while watching the ceremony on the Beechman's big screen. The party starts at 7 PM. Visit BeechmanTheatre.
  • Broadway Hair cast members Annaleigh Ashford and Kyle Riabko will host Broadwayspace's Tony Awards party at Blondie's at 7 PM. The admission includes food, drink specials, a Tony pool and a theatre raffle. To register visit Broadwayspace.

  • Beginning at 7 PM the historic Stonewall Inn will celebrate the Tonys with its own party hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Emily McNamara. The cover charge gets you in to see the ceremony on a big screen and performances by Celina Carvajal, Telly Leung, Toby Blackwell, Kenny Holcomb, Melissa Driscol and Chocolatina.   • On June 12, the night before the Tony Awards, Talkin' Broadway (which runs the All That Chat Broadway message board) will host a Tony party at Iguana in midtown at 4:30 PM. This is your chance to dish with Jesse21, MockingbirdGirl, Ncassidine, OutOfTownTurkey, Mlop, Showbuzz and Ann about who will take the coveted honors the next night.   • Tony Award-winning actor Tommy Tune will host the Actors Fund Tony party at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles at 3:30 PM PT. Actress Annette Bening will present Tony-winning musical actor Brian Stokes Mitchell with the Julie Harris Award as part of the event. Visit ActorsFund.
  • Tony-nominated actress Sharon McKnight will host and perform as part of Berkeley Playhouse's free Tony party (also simulcast on a large screen) at the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts in Berkeley, CA.   • The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, which is the recipient of the 2010 Regional Theatre Tony Award, will co-present a Tony party with the Garde Arts Center in New London, CT, at 6:30 PM. The awards will be shown on the Garde's giant screen. Visit GardeArts.
  • Tony Award nominee B.J. Crosby and Carol Sutton will join a special Tony party and screening for members of Actors Equity in New Orleans at Le Petit Theatre at 6:30 PM CST. Phone (985) 634-6882 for info.
  • The Barn Players in Mission, KS, will host a Tony screening (which also serves as a fundraiser for the 50-year-old community theatre) on the stage of their theatre at 6 PM CST. Visit TheBarnPlayers.
  • North Carolina's Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, in downtown Charlotte, is offering its 6th annual free Tony screening at the McGlohon Theatre at Spirit Square at 7 PM.
