News White, Lewis, Braxton, Burgess and More Will Offer Songs from an Era, from Gershwin to Ellington A host of Broadway favorites will take part in an upcoming concert to benefit The Broadway Experience scholarship fund.

Songs from an Era, from Gershwin to Ellington will be presented May 31 at Joe's Pub, the intimate cabaret located within the Public Theater. Show time is 7 PM. Among the performers who will be lending their talents to the evening are Tony Award winner Lillias White as well as Michelle Blakely, Brenda Braxton, Tituss Burgess, Robert Creighton, Jonathan Freeman and Norm Lewis.

The evening will be musically directed by renowned Gershwin pianist Kevin Cole.

Proceeds will benefit students across the world who need financial assistance in attending The Broadway Experience, the international musical theatre program designed to create triple-threat performers.
