L.A. Theatre Works' The Play's the Thing series continues its 1998-99 season of live radio theatre series with Shaw's The Doctor's Dilemma, with five performances recorded live at the Skirball Cultural Center, Dec. 2-6, for broadcast on KCRW 89.9 FM. Theatre Works mainstay Paxton Whitehead (My Fair Lady, Lettice and Lovage) will head a cast which features Kenneth Danziger, Roy Dotrice, Martin Jarvis, Simon Templeman (Nicholas Nickleby) and Douglas Weston (Blood Brothers). Rosalind Ayres directs.
Dilemma is the fifth Shaw play to be recorded by Theatre Works. Other plays by GBS include Arms And The Man, Pygmalion and Candida.
