Paxton Whitehead, star of stage, television and film, will star in Buffalo's Studio Arena production of Benn W. Levy's Springtime For Henry, running March 16-April 20.

Whitehead plays a wealthy, womanizing, drunk who's in for a big surprise, in this British farce which Studio Arena artistic director Gavin Cameron Webb, describes as "Somewhere between Oscar Wilde, Joe Orton, and Seinfeld."

In addition to being the former artistic director of Canada's prestigious Shaw Festival, Whitehead starred at Studio Arena and on Broadway in the world premiere of The Crucifer of Blood with Glenn Close. He periodically appears on NBC's "Mad About You" as the nosy British neighbor across the hall.

Springtime for Henry is directed by Nicolas Martin, and features Julian Gamble, Meg Tolin, and Lucinda Faraldo.
