News Who Can It Be Now? It's Colin Hay in Man @ Work Off-Broadway, May 4 Colin Hay, the former lead singer of the early '80s Australian pop sensation Men at Work, will star in his own one-man show Man @ Work at the Village Theatre Off-Broadway, beginning May 4.

The show recently ran at the Aspen Comedy Festival, part of a larger North American tour. Hay was born in Scotland, raised in Australia and now lives in Los Angeles. In 1982, the three-man group Men at Work unexpectedly hit it big with their debut album, charting two quirky, melodic number one songs, "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Down Under." A follow up album produced a couple more hits, "Overkill" and "It's a Mistake." After that, however, the group sunk under the media radar. The performer sings acoustic versions of these songs in the new show, punctuating the song list with a humorous account of his career.

Hay recently released a solo album titled "Man (At) Work," on the Compass label. He also appeared on the soundtrack NBC comedy "Scrubs" — where he guest starred as a troubador in a recent episode.

Tickets are $20. Call (212) 741-0391.
