Helen Mirren, Best Actress in a Play, The Audience
One of the first designers I ever worked with for red carpet kind of stuff was Badgley Mischka, and I found with their dresses – I put them on, I zip them up, and they just fit. They make dresses for women with asses and tits, and they fit me. They've always been very, very kind and helpful. They designed this for me, and I thought it was rather spectacular.

Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron, Best Book and Score, Fun Home
Lisa: Rent the runway! Rent the runway, people. I rented this dress. I borrowed these jewels. The shoes are from Zappos.
Jeanine: I'm wearing a jumpsuit. I saw one of the jumpsuits in a pictorial. I loved it so much. I thought, "It feels very Fun Home to me." I tried on some gowns that were super elegant. I don't feel elegant. I feel ready to sort of run to the next thing.

Kelli O'Hara, Best Actress in a Musical, The King and I
I'm wearing a tiny bit of homage to a hoopskirt. It's not a full gown. It's tea length. It's fun and youthful and comfortable. It's also a different color than I've ever chosen. I always choose cool colors, and it's a warm color.

Ruthie Ann Miles, Best Featured Actress in a Musical, The King and I
I'm wearing red because I thought that I couldn't wear red. I thought it clashed with Asian people, or at least my skin. I thought it made me look too this or too that. Maybe too Asian. But red is a bold and empowering color. I didn't know if I wanted that attention that red comes with. But the KCD and the Vogue initiative was so encouraging, said, "This is your color. This is your color for the night. Go home and decide which one you're going to wear. But go ahead and tell me that you decided on the red." Annaleigh Ashford, Best Featured Actress in a Play, You Can't Take It With You
I've been saying all night long that I'm wearing Zac Posen because he makes you feel like a beautiful lady. Basically you don't have to wear Spanx when you're wearing Zac Posen is what I have to say about that. All we did in the fitting was making the hem right. It's a magic dress.
