Following its run at the 2014 West Village Musical Theatre Festival, the musical runs through Nov. 22 at People's Improv Theatre and has been expanded from 15 minutes to an hour-long piece.

Wicked Frozen, according to press notes, "is an original musical mashup based on what creators Toby Singer and Zoe Farmingdale imagined Wicked and 'Frozen' to be about, without ever having seen either show. In mythical ScandiNorFinland, two witchprincess sisters, Elsaba and Glindanna, go to magic ice school for royal people, where they must learn to control their freezing powers. Can the sisters learn to work together? Will the beautiful but vacant Prince Ikea come to their rescue? Will the world be destroyed by fossil fuels? What actually happens when Elsaba takes that glove thing off?"

Directed by Michael Rau with musical direction by Toby Singer, the cast includes Bethany Nicole Taylor, Emily Lessard, Jen Connor, Kathleen Armenti, Lucas Brady, Matt Rogers, Meagan Wells, Rachel Valencich, Will Jacobs and Zoe Farmingdale.

Wicked Frozen was conceived and written by Zoe Farmingdale (book, lyrics) and Toby Singer (music, lyrics), who previously collaborated on the indie-rock musical Nina in New York.

The People's Improv Theatre is located at 123 E. 24th Street. Tickets are $10 online at ThePITNYC.com or $12 at the door and $1 for students (room permitting).
