The designers were challenged with creating couture-inspired garments, using the themes of Wicked, the world of Oz and Susan Hilferty’s Tony Award-winning designs as inspiration.
The episode, which will air Nov. 13 at 9 PM ET, was filmed onstage at the Gershwin Theatre, where “Project Runway All Stars” host Alyssa Milano entered in Glinda’s iconic bubble. The broadcast will also feature current Wicked stars Christine Dwyer and Jenni Barber delivering the challenge to the All Star designers.
The winning garment will be on display in the lobby of Broadway’s Gershwin beginning Nov. 14, where it will remain through the end of the year.
