News Wicked to Premiere in Dublin in November Wicked will receive its Irish premiere at Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, beginning performances Nov. 27 for an eight-week run through Jan. 18, 2014.

The London production continues in its seventh year at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, and it is also still running at Broadway's Gershwin Theatre, where it is now in its 10th year. It has been seen by over 36 million people around the world and has seven productions running concurrently.

Based on the acclaimed novel "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Gregory Maguire that re-imagined the stories and characters created by L. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, Wicked is directed by Joe Mantello. It is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures Stage Productions, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone. Executive producer (UK and Ireland) is Michael McCabe.

Casting is still to be announced for the Dublin run.
