The national tour of the hit Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical Wicked welcomes Jessica Vosk as Elphaba and Kristen Martin as Nessarose beginning September 7 at The Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend.

The engagement at the Indiana venue continues through September 18.

Vosk was most recently seen as Fruma Sarah in Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof. Her other Broadway credits include Finding Neverland and The Bridges of Madison County. Martin was in the original Broadway company of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.

The two actors join a company that includes Amanda Jane Cooper (Glinda), Wendy Worthington (Madame Morrible), Stuart Zagnit (The Wizard), Chad Jennings (Doctor Dillamond), Sam Seferian (Boq), Jeremy Woodard (Fiyero) and Emily Schultheis (Standby for Elphaba) with Allison Bailey, Kerry Blanchard, Giovanni Bonaventura, Jillian Butler, Laurel Cannon, Jordan Casanova, Michael Di Liberto, Michael Drolet, Ryan Patrick Farrell, Anthony Festa, Dominic Giudici, Lauren Haughton, Garett Hawe, Kelly Lafarga, Melissa Legaspi, Chase Madigan, Olivia Polci, Wayne Schroder, Tregoney Shepherd, Ben Susak, Travis Taber, Jeremy Thompson, Nyla Watson and Justin Wirick.

“The surprising tale of an unlikely friendship between two women in the Land of Oz,” Wicked, according to press notes, “tells the untold story of the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good, long before Dorothy drops in. Elphaba, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. Glinda is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. The remarkable odyssey of how these unexpected friends changed each other’s lives for good has made Wicked one of the world’s most popular musicals.”
