News Wicked's Cameron Goes It Solo Dec. 17 Ben Cameron, who is featured in the ensemble of Broadway's Wicked, will present his own cabaret act Dec. 17 at Sam's.

Entitled Different Is Good, the one-man show, according to press notes, charts Cameron's "travels from Utah, where he had a Mormon upbringing and being different was a challenge, to his arrival in New York City, where being different is celebrated." The midnight show features direction by Schele Williams and musical direction by Stephen Oremus.

An original company member of Broadway's Wicked, Ben Cameron has also appeared on Broadway in Aida and Footloose. The actor was also seen in the tours of Tommy, State Fair, Fame and Footloose.

Sam's is located in Manhattan at 263 West 45th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. There is a $10 cover charge and a two-drink minimum; call (212) 719-5416 for reservations.
