The concert will feature material from Alan's forthcoming CD "A Perfect World" as well as songs from his new musical Piece. Wicked's Eden Espinosa, Aida's Nikki Renee Daniels and singer-actress Katie Thompson are scheduled to perform a medley from the aforementioned Piece, which will play the NAMT Festival in October. Show time is 7 PM. Barbara Anselmi will be the musical director for the evening. Anselmi has also written new arrangements for many of the tunes.
Scott Alan wrote the book and score for Detour, which played a ten-week run at Los Angeles' Complex Theater. With book writer Tara Smith, he penned the musical Piece.
