Tveit, according to TVGuide.com, will play Tripp Vanderbilt, a cousin to the character of Nate (actor Chace Crawford). Actress Holley Fain will play Vanderbilt's fiancee. Both Tveit and Fain are scheduled to appear on two upcoming episodes of the series.
Tveit was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for his performance in Second Stage's Next to Normal and recently reprised his work in the Arena Stage production of that new musical. His other theatre credits include the Broadway productions of Hairspray and Wicked, the Off-Broadway production of Saved and the national tour of Rent as well as the New England premiere of The Three Musketeers. Tveit also took part in the workshop of Catch Me If You Can. He can be seen in the film "Ghost Town."
