Off-Broadway's Wide Sky Theatre Company limited-run presentation of Len Jenkin's Gogol will conclude at Theatre 3 (311 W. 43rd St.) on Aug. 2. The production is directed by Sarah E. Orth. Gogol is the name of a mysterious gentleman who is throwing the party in which the hunted Mesmer, a healer and charlatan wanted by the police, takes refuge. Once there, Mesmer is forced to confront his own state of being and place in the universe. The production is only Wide Sky's third full-length effort.

The cast includes Bob Izzo as Mesmer and Mark Nichols as Gogol. Jenkins' other works include The Dream Express and Careless Love. For information on the show, call (212) 501-6505.
