News Wilfert and Eakeley Are Strangers in Marry Me a Little for Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park Sally Wilfert and Benjamin Eakeley will star in the two-person Sondheim revue Marry Me a Little, directed by Stafford Arima, at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

Running May 9-June 14, Wilfert (Make Me a Song) and Eakeley (Sweeney Todd) will star in the 1980 revue featuring such Sondheim rarities and trunk songs as "Two Fairy Tales," "So Many People," "The Girls of Summer," "All Things Bright and Beautiful," "Your Eyes Are Blue," "Happily Ever After," "It Wasn't Meant to Happen" and "A Moment with You."

Arima (Altar Boyz) directs the work that asks "'What do you do when you find yourself alone on a Saturday night in New York City?' The story follows two young people who live in the same apartment building (he in 3E and she in 2E), but have never met. Both characters (who go unnamed throughout the show) would prefer to be doing something exciting with their weekend night, but instead are left unpacking groceries and reading the early edition of the Sunday New York Times to pass the time."

Lynne Shankel will musical direct the production with designs by Beowulf Boritt (set), Aaron Spivey (lighting) and Gordon DeVinney (costume).

Created by original Sweeney Todd cast member Craig Lucas and Norman René, the original Off-Broadway run of Marry Me a Little debuted in 1980 starring Lucas and Suzanne Henry.
