Grammy, Tony, Emmy, and Oscar winner Streisand's The Music… The Mem’ries… The Magic! tour launched August 2 in Los Angeles, grossing $46 million, according to Billboard.com. The concerts featured Streisand performing hits from each decade of her career as well as tunes from her new album, ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, which was released August 26. On the new CD Streisand partners with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars to sing Broadway classics.

The tour, which played 13 cities and was seen by 177,524 concertgoers, was directed by Streisand and Richard Jay-Alexander with musical direction by conductor Randy Waldman. Streisand's New York stop was Brooklyn's Barclay's Center, where the acclaimed singing actor took in $8.8 million over two performances in August. That concert was the third highest-grossing of the past year among all artists at arenas in the U.S., Billboard reports. Only Adele's performances at the Staples Center and Madison Square Garden brought in more at the box office.
