Renner told the Hollywood Reporter that one of his possible projects is a Broadway run of Tennessee Williams' Cat On a Hot Tin Roof with his "Avengers" co-star Scarlett Johansson, who was last seen on Broadway in a revival of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge. The only snag will be if director Ridley Scott hires him for the upcoming film "The Counselor," he said.

Cat On a Hot Tin Roof was last revived in 2008 with an all-African American cast led by Terrence Howard and Anika Noni Rose. A 2003 revival starred Jason Patric and Ashley Judd.
